Typical Ted response.

Do a compression test and get back to us.

Ok today I turned it on and it started to let out white smoke...which means to much oil is getting in right?

djmtsu 01-10-2010 09:40 PM

White smoke is generally coolant burning.

Rotary#10 01-11-2010 03:47 AM

does the exhaust smell kinda sweet? if it does your burning coolant.

Rotarytech7 01-11-2010 11:10 AM

Seriously though how much "white" smoke and for how long after start up, it is cold outside right now, think about how you can see your breath outside, the condensation that builds up from the temp difference in the exhaust will "burn off" almost like the vapor when you boil water. . Have you tried replacing the fuel filter? And check to see if your pump is on the fritz, my car would run one day, not the next, run great the next, then like crap the next. Replaced pump and all my problems went away.
