Bucking under load?? Need help asap please
 

88 gxl, random miss at idle but revs out fine with no load on engine. but once in gear going down the road the car bucks ALOT! what can cause this?

Fuel Filter New, Decent Plugs.

This started happening after a 7k 1-2, 7k 2-3 then decel, this is when it first started occuring??

Im in illinois with the car need to get it back to missouri tomorrow!!

I was going to ask about spark plugs, but I guess you've got that covered. Any charging issues, like maybe the alternator going out on you? Or bad grounding of the motor maybe.

Other than that, I guess you'll have to look at fuel delivery issues, and I'm a carb guy so I'll wish you good luck. :)

Actually I Am having charging issues the parts stores tell me the alternator is good but on the car it is only putting out like 12.6v new battery, it also when I go to start it it just clicks even though battery has full voltage it has to be jumped... I'm gonna recheck plugs and try to find specs to check gps and other sensors, and check fuel system

Battery cables and connections at both ends. lol, who says carb guys don't know crap? :)

Dropped the fuel tank and cleaned it, changed the filter, cleaned plugs and added engine and body grounds car runs perfect now.. Good enough to get a good sized speeding ticket
