are the a-arms a bit springy?

assembling the fc suspension on the FB, been awhile since i had an FC, but are the A arms supposed to be like...spring loaded by the bushing? I just want to make sure that is normal

IIRC, mine were like that before I put on the new bushings. The big bushing kind of melded to the a-arm making it like a spring.

so....should i just kinda roll with it? or should i take it apart and figure it out ya think?

It's "normal" for stock bushings.
There is binding.

I think AWRacing makes a needle bearing kit for that, but how much of an advantage is it?

this is for the rally car so i doubt a needle bearing would survive.

yah its normal. the end of the bushing gets squished up against the subframe. you should be able to trim it so that only the metal sleeve is in full contact, and that should ease it up. or jsut grease the crap out of it
