running but alil slugish and back fireing?????

Ok I finally got it to stay running and everything I have been posting a lot on here lately I changed the spark plugs and now it runs but really slugish and popping and all what else could it be

djmtsu 04-09-2010 08:11 PM

Wicked vacuum leak, blown engine, timing WAYY off, bad gas....

Alot of variables.

rotaryguy481 04-09-2010 09:02 PM

Well I know the motors not bad less than two thousand miles on it and would a blow off valve not hooked up right cause a big vac leak and the gas could be to and the guy i got it from mixed way to much oil with the gas as well.

jerd_hambone 04-09-2010 09:08 PM

A BOV could cause a vac leak, but I don't know if it'd cause the car to run sluggish and backfire.

Was the motor broken in done properly?

rotaryguy481 04-09-2010 09:58 PM

Yeah im pretty sure it was what are the requirements

Aight I just asked the guy he told me pretty much everything that was in the thread

rotaryguy481 04-10-2010 08:57 AM

And the compression is 115 front and back

jerd_hambone 04-10-2010 10:07 AM

Hm.

rotaryguy481 04-10-2010 03:25 PM

I'm starting to think its the afm or bad coil or wires cause when you touch where the boot meets the wire it shocks the piss out of ya

My5ABaby 04-10-2010 03:48 PM

Did you put the right wires on the right plugs? :dunno:

rotaryguy481 04-10-2010 07:10 PM

IS L1 AND T1 the front rotor and L2 T2 the rear

rotaryguy481 04-11-2010 11:10 AM

Ok I unplugged the pressure sensor and it runs just fine but when I plugged it back in runs like crappy

rotaryguy481 04-11-2010 08:07 PM

FC3S 04-12-2010 05:45 AM
