Billy, would you let me take your 8 if I bring my own wheels and tires to put on? :)

definetly wanna go what are the requirements to drive, helmet, cage harness?

I had alot of fun at Zoomfest last year. As much of a Road Atlanta junkie that I am, I am glad to see it move to TGPR. It's more track time for everyone and I think it will be much more user friendly for all. I will most likely be there given the Army doesn't have me doing something that weekend.

As for the Time Attack, I see there are no classes. Any stipulations on the cars? Obviously an RX something, but the reason I ask is because I will most likely be bringing my V8 FD. I know there are plenty of rotaries that are faster than me though, so it shouldn't be an issue, right? :D

In general all you need is a helmet. This FAQ will answer all your questions:

Yes, it was hard for us to move it away from our "home track" but we really wanted to ensure the track time and future growth.

The event is open to any Mazda or Mazda powered vehicle. We will have 4 groups for the track day. A-D, grouped by experience level and level of modifications. I will work on a classing structure for the time attack over the next month.

So I am trying to figure out how this goes...

$20 lets me hang out, but if I want to run the track, at all, it is another $150, and that is only if I am one of the first 40 to sign up?

Help me Billy!

The standard Zoom-Fest ticket is $20. No limit on sales.
The Track day ticket is $150 (includes the $20 standard ticket). Only 40 spots will be sold.

In for the track day. Is there somewhere we can see how many are signed up for the track day?
