South Carolina Zoom-Fest group
WHAT: Zoom Fest 2010
WHERE: Talladega, AL at Talladega Grand Prix WHEN: July 17-18. WHO: YOU GUYS! Ok, I'm already planning to make it down there to at least hang out and, if I can swing it, run in the open track/time attack. I want to see who is up for making the trip so we can plan on a time to leave, a place to stay Friday night, etc. Even if you don't have any interest in driving in the open sessions, there will be a parade lap where you get to go around the track without the competitive side to it. Also, there will be a car show, food, and rotorheads galore! Nicole and I will be in the vert. Who else is coming? |
this sounds awesome! I could bring a few rotor heads. hmmmmm
|
I am there

Rico, your ass needs to go. I'm going, Tray last I heard was gonna bunk with me, should be badass.... I'm so there, driving a route that takes me through the Dragon too so if you're heading down, we gotta meet up and roll down together.
|
TTT, awesome, I'll finally be able to see your car in person and meet you! When are you coming through SC?
Due to not finding anyone around here to build a bar for a reasonable cost, no time attack for me. Blah. I'm still coming though! |
Sweet!
Right now the plan is to drive through the Dragon just becuase and then whatever mapquest or my GPS says from there. So if there are any guys that want to meet in NC or TN and ride through, lets do it. I know Rico and Tray are about an hour away |

What about I/O Port and those other bolt in bar vendors? -billy |
The downside to the Kirk is that the less expensive one won't meet tech. The more expensive one requires welding of the rear mounts. Due to future stereo upgrades, etc that isn't my best option. I may have something being worked out with a member of the other forum from down in mid-FL. I've heard some good things about him, so we'll see.

My bar is a variation of the kirk cage. I'd give 'em a call, they worked with me on a one off setup for my car, I don't see why they couldn't make something that wouldn't require welding and still meet tech.
