Engine Harness s4 88 T2

While I was taking off the tape on the engine harness during by rebuild I saw that bottom part wire of one of the injector wires is just there and doesn't connect to anything. Its the one that I'm pointing at.

Anyone have a clue?

I wish I could help you, but not seeing it on the whole car is making me draw a blank.

Free bump.

Looks strangely like the plug for the Alternator. Is this car a conversion of some sort?

Is it broke off on the end?

Looks like a possible ground...

It can't be a ground.
The fuel injectors are pull-to-ground signals, with the power side always on.
That splice is for power.

Are those branches for the secondaries?
If so, there are two more solenoids that run off that branch of the harness, and that's what it could be for.
It's all basically for emissions / idle control, so just tape it off and be done with it.

What are the wire colors?

Looking at the first and second pic it appears the dead end wire you're talking about is crimped onto another wire? Perhaps someone was trying to tee into something for some reason.

A better pic would help alot ;)

+1 To be honest, I'm not 100% sure what wire I'm even supposed to be looking at. :D
