Phil, some very good friends of mine will be there at IFO. Just look for some crazy Puerto Ricans running a tubbed out Toyota Starlet with a wheelie bar and parachute. The car should be running low 8s in the quarters, but they think they may pull a 7 second pass out at IFO. Tell them I told you about the car and look for the big guy....that would be Fernando. He's helped me lots over the years. You have Luis, I have 'Nando. Cool cats for sure. Wish I could be there. Have fun!

Todd B.

Todd, I think I met him before.. its a purplish starlet??

7 sec is pretty freaking fast!! I'll look for him.

How is SD?

Nooo, definitely not purple. Before Nando sold the car and it moved around before his buddies got it back, it looked almost brand new and white. Now it has a couple of grey primer patches, but still mostly white. Or it was the last time I saw it.

Here's a pass at MMP almost 2 years ago....running upper 8s:

That was a 8.84 pass.

Oh, and SD.....well, it is 34 degrees right now and snowing. It will stop snowing before too much longer, but will be in the 20s tonight. SD definitely has some diverse weather. Overall, it is really nice though. I enjoy my job and my wife and kids are happy (we have #4 on the way, WOOT!)

You doing ok? I talk to Hobby a good bit. He says you've been hanging in there pretty good, just busy.

Herblenny 10-27-2010 09:17 PM

Yeah, I'm super busy.. Being a dad isn't easy and I don't know how you do it :)

Besides that, tons of shit has happened here and we are just going through days. I've finally decided that I need to work on the car at least an hour a day and get some stuff done..

That reminds me, I need to ask Hobbie if he wants my engine.

Man, 30s already??? that's insane! I don't miss one bit of OH when I lived there ;)

Well, hope to see you again one of these days!
