Is that car all original? The list of mods would make it seem so.

Looks good, I like old school.

I would say not all original, due to the fact he stated it had a 13b from an 83. I like the car makes me want to do an old school RX.

Excuse the above meant to write 12a, brain stopped functioning as I was typing!

WE3RX7 12-31-2010 09:47 AM

12A from 1983 - no 13Bs in FBs back then. Its not all original with the RX7 engine and the RX4 brake cylinder, etc.

RotorDad 12-31-2010 10:37 AM

Woops was typing fast, I meant 12a. Thanks WE3, good catch.

NoDOHC 01-01-2011 05:42 PM

Sorry, I meant the body (all original), not the mechanicals. I should have said as much.

Obviously the mod list indicated that the mechanicals had been changed.

If the body survived that long without work, that is impressive.

t_g_farrell 01-02-2011 09:34 AM

I've seen this car in person. Looks all stock from the outside. A very nice
survivor.

Jeremy, my wifes' comment when she saw it at Crits was "It's cute!" :smilielol5:

Proxy One 01-04-2011 02:43 PM

Yeah the body is all original and original paint with the exception to the passenger rear quarter has been resprayed at some point.

ZGN 01-04-2011 08:17 PM

So should I just declare you the winner by default or does anyone else want to enter?

RotorDad 01-04-2011 10:32 PM

Could give it till the end of the week see if any random entries turn up.

I dunno man, I really like the RX2!!!

I can put my wifes car in the "car of the month". I will have to get an interior picture and engine bay pic later. Here is the outside picture...

94 MB FD

extend port engine with all OE parts (ported by myself, assembled by Stephen White with some assistance ;).)

BNR Stage 3 sequential twin turbocharger upgrades

Full 3" exhaust with Magnaflow muffled mid pipe and RB dual tip muffler

Custom SMIC upgrade with custom air duct extension

Custom intercooler piping with Greddy elbow

Type S BOV

Power FC w/ Commander

850 primary injectors/1200CC secondary injectors

Supra Nippondenso pump

Car made 329 RWHP at 14 psi on stock twins and stock engine with stock fuel system a couple years ago. On crappy tires and stock slipping clutch it went a 13.0 with a 2.2 60 ft at 114 mph. Redynoing at the end of this month. Goal with the car is 375 RWHP sequential at 15-16 psi on pump fuel.

I found that RX2! It was in a junk yard in Pell City AL. When I saw it, it looked perfect!

NoDOHC 01-05-2011 08:44 PM

It may take some time for this section of the forum to become popular again...

Bryan, your pictures didn't come through.

FD vs RX2 is an interesting competition...
