Broken Line
 

While i was puttin the Throttle body back on this morning i was being careless, and i accidently snapped a line. Nothing came out of the line so im not sure what it does exactly.. but i know its connected to the dash pot so im guessing its a pressure line of some sort?? I drove the car after i put everything back together and it seems fine, so is this line important? What does it do? Heres a pic of the line from my cam phone

I did the same thing to. I was told that it controls the first set of butterflies during cold starts so that they close when the car is cold so that you cant beat on the car until it warms up.
