Who wants to help me tune my car at Deals

Im gonna have my freshly finished car at deals this year but is untuned. It running with a Power FC. Engine is ported and has 1300cc secondaries with Knight Sport Twins. Ill have datalogit and wideband.

I cant help you tune it, unfortunately, but that's pretty sick, and I like ergo proxy, really good anime!

Oh yeah, PICS OR BAN! :D

EDIT: Is it the "1994 Chaste white build" in the multimedia section?

SPICcnmFD 03-31-2008 07:36 AM

I can alittle if you want but it'll be safe. If you want power you can play with it later.

Is it even going to be broke in??

Proxy One 03-31-2008 08:53 AM

Yeah this is the car in the build section, I need to get some pix now that the car is at home. I drove it today for about 30miles and blew the IC hose off so I gotta fix that and try to see if there are any boost issues now. The motor was broken in on a stand before I got it, so that isnt an issue.

Sweet~!

My5ABaby 03-31-2008 09:03 AM

Can someone help me get my car to idle? :p

Proxy One 03-31-2008 09:13 AM

Oh and mine is doing the PFC dance where the idle is hunting thing.

Herblenny 03-31-2008 09:25 AM

Jer,

Don't you have chuck tuning notes? I think he covers that..

Proxy One 03-31-2008 09:35 AM

Yeah i have those ill have to look over that stuff this week.

SPICcnmFD 03-31-2008 09:49 AM

You can probably adjust some of the screws on the TB and fix the idle hunt crap.

Herblenny 03-31-2008 10:06 AM

Chris is right.. I just don't remember which ones.. But I know chuck covers all this on his notes:) I guess I'm plugging chuck's notes:)

Proxy One 03-31-2008 10:43 AM

Yeah thats what I was thinking also that the idle screws on the TB work with that. Ill just have to look through that stuff.

Pourman 03-31-2008 11:22 AM

With PFC and Datalogit , you can also change the Timing Map to adjust for Idle ... my car wouldn't Idle at all , and was running PIG rich , and Dale changed my Timing Map and the Idle is now great , and steady at around 875-900 RPM , and purrs :)

bop_rocco 04-07-2008 08:24 AM

you can steal my map off my car it has 1300 sec but stock twins at 14psi but should be a good start. mine is rich though but runs fine. steve kan tuned it for the previous owner.

I too would liketo get my car tuned. it's got a safc-ii and it's a NA FC. but I don't have a wideband or anything like that.
