Help with rust
 
How do you stop or slow down rust.I just bought my 81 rx7 and everywhere I look RUST.Anyone have suggestions?The body shop is not affordable option.

Find another one without rust.

Seriously. You can get a good shell for around $100. Swap all your good stuff over. It isn't worth fixing, especially if it is the dreaded bin rot.

if it were small spots i would suggest a rust conversion product but if its as bad as you say i think you found your answer above
