Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure what I am looking at on the last pic, so I will let that one go.

Cap off the one on the iron, I believe it is coolant related. The one on the filler neck is a PCV vent.

What year 12a is that? I can take some pics of both an 84, and a 1979 version when I get home if you need them.

Sadly I don't know what year 12A it is. The 2nd picture is of a tube protruding from the oil pan. I'll take a better picture.

Shots of both the 84 and 79 12A would be a big help djmtsu. Thanks.
A picture's worth a thousand words as they say.

The one on the iron is not coolant related.

I just pluged mine (on the iron) and ran the filler neck nipple to the intake.

yep, just cap the one on the iron and vent the one on the filler neck with a vacuum hose to either: bottom of engine bay, oil catch can, back to intake. What ever you prefer.

The wire coming from the oil pan is from the level sensor.
Find a white connector in the engine bay near that area, its a 2 pin connector. (note, I know this is on FC's, not sure if it is the same connector on FB's)
Repair the wire, hook to said connector. When low on oil an annoying buzzer should go off.

Also.
The bolt looking thing next to the level sensor is a factory temp sensor I think. An aftermarket temp sensor can bolt right in here.

Good to know
Much appreciated.

Here's what the 2nd picture was of.

Is this an oil temperature port or ??

That wire is what he's talking about here.

Man, I'm a dunce. I wasn't paying attention. Thanks guys.

Oh, I forgot to mention an important thing (yet more proof of numbskulledness): this 12A is in an 85 Corolla.

I wanted to make sure I had all the essential connections made and the non-essentials pointed out.

Anyone know off hand the thread size of the oil temp sensor? I know I can pull the sensor and check for myself but if anyone would be so kind I'd be obliged. I can go ahead and order the appropriate aftermarket oil temp gauge and if necessary the correct adapter.
