You need stickier rubber!

Good runs though! Where are Mel's videos?

That's awesome man. I had a blast out there. I wish I had gotten to see your runs yesterday. You ran right behind me on the 2nd heat though.

Not to threadjack or anything, but do you have any pics of the Bennet's Auto Car? I only got before pics. Nm, I found them at trscca.

Front left suspension failed (under braking by where he was on the course). The wheel along with the hub and shock went under the car lifting it up in the air. When it came down it broke the front right and tweaked the whole car. This all happened at no more than 30mph. probably less.

Not just a fail, but a public fail. That must've really made for a bad day...

Best part is, the driver does not own the car. He was a 'hired gun' who is also an instructor for the track day participants.

When I talked to him he was like 'meh'.

that car took 5th in XP at nats this year. pretty quick car i suppose lol

rumor is a tension rod failed. it was all aftermarket adjustable crap, so it was prolly either binding or just fatigue failure from cheap components

Does anyone know what engine is in the bennett's 240sx?

josh18_2k 11-07-2011 01:08 PM

used to be RB26, now its an SR. now its wrecked lol

85rx-7gsl-se 11-07-2011 02:39 PM

Oh ok. That would make since on the calculated minimum weight from nationals. For some reason I thought it was an LS but the calculated weight for XP was too low.
