aluminum flywheel

I have owned a lot of NA rotaries in my time ,stock and modified . This is my first turbo car and it's an rx2 with an fc motor .My question is how does everyone with a turbo running an aluminum flywheel like or dislike ?

Ive never owned one, but a friend of mine had a Series5 Turbo-II with an aluminum flywheel and it was awesome. It would rev quite happily in 1st and 2nd.

On a stock port 12a, I went with a lightweight steel flywheel. I based this on forum input that a very light flywheel would be difficult to use on a daily driver.

Based on the difference between the stock flywheel and the light steel, I now wish that I had gone with the aluminum.

How that applies to a turbo, I can't tell you. Good luck. :)

The faster you can rev, the faster you'll get on the boost.

I love mine on the FD, revs fast, quick down and upshifts!

If you have AC you'll have to adjust idle to make sure the engine does not stall when AC is on.

I have an extra one to sell if your interested. :)\

Here is is for sale!
