GT35R setup help
I need help with what parts i may need to accomodate a gt35r.
My current setup -13b-t -streetport with 3mm apex seals -bnr stage 3 -750/1000cc -haltech e6k -2.5" dp to 3" catback My goal is 450+ hp. If someone could help me out with a list of parts and or tips with places/companies they recommend, id greatly appreciate it. thanks for your time. |
Bigger injectors, different turbo manifold, wastegate bigger dp to match turbo, wastegate and a tune....that's a common turbo so most places will sell what you need, that is most rx7 stores

alright awesome. thats all i had planned, just needed to make sure there wasnt some small things i needed. appreciate the help

fuel pump?
i have a walbro 255 right now, but im gonna try the supra tt pump, anyone used that?
Supra TT pump will be enough when you supply enough voltage to the pump. It really depends on many things, power level, boost pressure, base pressure. But voltage is prime thing what will determine how fast the pump will turn and consequently how much it will flow at given pressure.
So i just gotta rewire the supra tt pump and i should be good for what im trying to do correct?
Walbro 400 or Aeromotive 340 flow more
are they worth the money tho? ive heard of a bunch of pumps that flow alot but crap out.
well, reports so far have been positive. I never had a problem with my Walbro 255 for over 30k miles so I decided to upgrade to the 400.
A local guy is running twin Walbro 255s. He used the stock return and feed lines as his new feed lines (1 for each rail) and ran a new return line. Cheap option if you already have a 255.
hmm, i might have to look into that one. thanks for the advice guys. Ive talked to "riceracing" and he's given me a little advice on water injection. anyone using it that could give some feed back?
Ditch the walblows.... they suck. Denso supra pump should be enough but rewire it.
Get some real injectors and fuel rails. Get in touch with Full Function Eng Ditch the e6Krap, that thing is horrible and get a decent ecu. On that note, talk to FFE about their trigger kit. What manifold? What ar on the exhaust? Depending on that, you might not even hit 450wheel. I just dynoed a gt35r with a 4" exhaust and it did ~ 380wheel @ 15psi.... anyone wanna guess why? |
Run out of fuel? my APEXi RX6 made more even with the compression a bit on the low side.
I was running 405wheel with a 750/1000 combo @ 94% duty
