Purge Valve

Losing power, and also experiencing some hesitation. Check Engine Light is on, says Purge Valve. I am having trouble locating it on the car. Please help!

Are you sure you're talking about a 1986 - 1991 Mazda RX-7?
The "purge valve" is a mechanical device, and the stock ECU has no idea if it's working or not.
I do not see an error code for the purge valve.
