my fuel was rich at 16.0 but I needed more air.. I didn't have intake nor exhaust. just the smic and the maxim works twin 68mm dp and made 280 on the wheels. when I installed the rest (cold air intake. re amemiya throttle full knightsports ti exhaust, high flow 300cpsi cat I made 420 on the 2002 twins

I assume that you mean 420hp at the flywheel...

420hp at the wheels would be pretty much impossible with stock fuel and factory twins... In fact, I don't know if anyone has ever dyno'd more than 420whp on the twins.

420hp is flywheel hp ...however 420rwhp are on the wheels :)

Sorry, what I meant was were you running stock fuel rails and injectors or did you have bigger injectors?
