FC Catches Fire at SevenStock 15 on a Parade Lap
 

Garage Life's FC catches fire on a parade lap at SevenStock 15, Willow Springs International Raceway.
It was reported due to fuel build up in the Holly 600 carb at low speed.
The fire was quickly extinguished and the car was saved.

That was pretty nuts. We were driving right behind him and couldn't figure out why he was stopping... then we saw the flames! Drove to the next turn station, and took a bit to get the point across that the car back there was on fire. Glad it didn't turn out worse, it was sounding really awesome.

Ahhh.... yea, it was very bad. Car will be salvageable, but the engine bay was toast. Standing close to the turn and saw the entire thing happen, then caught up with him in the pits later. Extremely lucky that he didn't get severely burned when he opened the hood. Note to others... do NOT open the hood if you suspect there's a fire.

Just glad no one was seriously injured!
