S5 UIM on S4?
 

have an 87 TII and the p.o. was a moron, he had no idea what he was doing, and decided to do everything himself. Based on some of the things i have seen, i am re-evaluating everything. anywho... i noticed that my UIM has 4 nipples on the firewall side and i have seen multiple posts by s4 owners stating that they olny have 3 nipples. i also checked the FSM and it looked like olny three lines lead to the UIM. Do i have a S5 uim? Also, he re-did all the vac lines with "pretty" ones and they are all the wrong size. In re-doing them myself, i noticed no restrictor pill to the pressure sensor. Obviously the pill is there for a reason, but am i going to run into problems without it?

wait... what? its not an N/A mani, its a turbo mani, if thats what you mean. The olny difference is the number of vac nipples on the firewall side the ones where the omp spider goes.

My 1987 Turbo II has 4 on the rear.
They can have 3 or 4...
