I recently joined so i can share what i know, and mostly learn about what i don't know. I started my rotary life buying a 91 vert in bad condition. played with it for a bit, and sold it. moved on to a 87 gxl, which i still have and am planning all kinds of crazy ideas with. i also picked up a 72 rx3 wagon in decent condition with a streetport 13b in it. eventually, this one will be a fantastic street machine. Most recently, i picked up a 93 touring. the key to this one is that it only has 11k original miles on it, 100% stock, and near mint. this one i'll be taking to dgrr this year.

Welcome! Good find on the FD! I like the RX3 too. Got any pics of the FC?

here is a pic of the fc. not in the best condition, but its a work in progress, and i bought it running for $850. currently playing around with some rims on it. the back has stock rx8 rims with plasti-dip. need some spacers for the front though.

Cool, maybe we can all caravan down. I'm leaving early Thursday as well, probably before 0630 so I can get past the Whitemarsh exits and the B-more belway before traffic there slows to a crawl. The rest of the trip is easy. My route is I-95S to the I-695 B-more beltway to I-70W, then onto US-340W/S and VA Rt. 7S which links up with I-81S for the next 300+ miles.

that is probably the same exact route we will take. We will probably meet up on the west side of the beltway around 5am or so. make it an early morning, but we will be able to skip any traffic. and possibly get to dgrr at a reasonable hour. last year we didnt arrive at our cabin till almost 1:30am friday. so if you'd like to leave a bit earlyer and meet up with us, let me know.
