http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ps05f087d3.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ps1925229c.jpg you can see that ive already tried scraping away some of what ever this is (w/ plastic putty knife). anyone know how i can remove this stuff with out totally ruining the paint? havent totally decided whether or not to keep the bay stock color or to go black. i was thinking of maybe using a heat gun and a scraper of some sort. all the wiring loom and what not will be replaced so im not too worried about that. one thing i did notice that threw me off a little bit, one fender has the coating... while the other doesnt. hmm. edit: also... just found out my car is infested with yellow jackets... ouch! |

Dry ice is the one most used. It seems to be the most effective of getting rid of it. |

Some sort of solvent or elbow grease. |
