13B-REW/T51S in SA
Hi Everyone,
My name is Nick, I was tired of the atmosphere over at the other club so I decided to look for a new place to hang out! Over the past year I have been slowly working on an engine swap for my SA RX7. The goal is to have this complete for next summer. Specs as follows: 13B-REW with HKS T51S Turbo 2 x id1000cc primary, 4 x 1600cc secondary (with AEM P&H) Megasquirt MS2 on V3 board FC tranny with OS Giken twin plate clutch AEM coils with external igniter 3" downpipe and exhaust Running Bilstein shocks and RB springs. FD front rotors with FC calipers all around. I personally built the engine, built the MS, etc. I prefer to invest the time in learning to do things right myself rather than paying to have it done elsewhere. Last task to complete is the rear end. I have two options here as I have rebuilt a GSL rear and in parallel I am building a Toyota 8" rear with Supra LSD. You can take a look at the pics below! Feedback, positive and negative are welcome! http://rx79.blogspot.ca/ |
the car sounds filthy sick! I love it. Saw some of the pix in your blog page (i don't have too much time to stalk right now, lol) and it's looking great. We have quite a few people here that had made some monsters out of their SA/FB's.
welcome to the site, and look forward to seeing you complete her, and making her work for the time you invested :D :D |

Love it! Beautiful car, hope to see it in person someday. :) Plan on doing something similar with the engine in my SA when I get to that point.

Thanks for all the good words!
I should be updating the blog this week. My fuel tank is being custom sumped for an Aeromotive A1000. Running this with the Aeromotive pump speed controller and a Weldon fpr. -8 lines all around with -10 on the feed side of the pump. As soon as the tank is done I will post up the result! Nick |
Look forward to seeing it! So many super custom 1st gen's popping up lately. . . . i think i may just have to join the club :D
