Let's talk turbos.

So it turns out that in 6 weeks I will finally have money, a substantial amount. It is time for the return of the FC.

Basically all it needs is a turbo, wastegate and injectors. I'm also thinking of a new ECU. Its a full bridge REW block, shooting for 500+hp. I have a rice WI kit, however finding a capable tuner is also a bit of an issue with where I live, so I don't think going for a smaller turbo with alot of boost is as safe an issue as a larger turbo with lower boost.

Shoot me some reccomendations. Car is a weekend toy and not a daily.

Ummn other details I might have to add.

Have a FuelLab 1000hp fuel pump, and planning on running 4 X ID2000's. All fuel lines are also 1/2"

Intercooler is a PWR 1000hp rated W2A barrell cooler. Unsure how it's going to go (I paid 400 for it with a rad and water pump) but I think it will be ok. Was going to go V mount, but I brought a PWR radiator some time back and don't really want to waste it.

Your whole set up is engineered for this turbo

BW400SX3 82mm forged compressor with 1.25A/R rear housing (T4 flange). It will do everything you want, suit the bridge port, be very low stressed, highest power at lowest boost setting.

I'd match it up with a single 60mm waste gate, as these sound the best 2 to 1 really screams, twin gates sound gay unless you merge the pipes *personal experience/preference*

I made over 1000bhp on this turbo, and it works on 500bhp 13B's just as well, it is very very hard to beat. Its physically not small! but its damn reliable and one tough mother fucker!.... great bang for buck.

I hit full boost (any setting) below 5500rpm and can rev to 10,000rpm not a problem, see GTR below RB26, which are a cuuuunt to spool turbo's (over 1000rpm slower than 13B's)...

This is the turbo you want BIG POWER, low stress, very durable...

Buy one for me too!

So you'd go the BW over a precision variant?

BW is KKK, it's an O.E.M supplier, its bespoke parts, the Precision is just a shit cuuunt Garrett parts whore copy, great marketing behind them though and some of the small frame stuff does make power.

You wanted BIG with maximum power at lowest boost, that one I listed suits that requirement and its a top notch unit.

On my youtube site you will see a RX7 'Docmar' this friend of mine in Greece has run the same BW branded turbo but much bigger again in spec! for many years and its been faultless, on street port lays down over 630rwkw!!!! If I listed the spec of his turbo most would simply no believe just how big it really is!!!!

This is the one... "crazy gay" is his nick name :)

Run the 1.10 A/R rear if you want it snappy........... for a 1300bhp capable turbo its just fucking awesome, nothing comes close to it.

You can see in all the video I listed this works at low boost and makes stupid power and the PFC log screen even in quick transients 2nd and 3rd its 'responsive' it is the ultimate turbo. (remember the one I told you is better than in these videos).

530rwhp @ 20psi

Remember this is the thread you need to reference, so with this turbo (on your engine combo) you will be at around ~270bhp per 1 bar, 2 bar 540bhp, 3 bar 810bhp, 4 bar 1080bhp.

It will be an animal. And this turbo will do it.
