Going out of business

The End of the Road

We are a bit sad to announce that after 10 years in this business, Rotary Diagnostics Systems is planning to shut down at the end of 2016. A significant drop in sales during the latter part of 2016 makes it fruitless to continue with the business. All outstanding warranties in force at that time will be honored by me personally for the remainder of the warranty. The web site will be maintained through the end of 2017 so that existing customers can have access to user manuals and other information. Contact instructions for technical assistance and warranty questions will also be provided on our web site for one year following our closing. If you or someone you know would like to purchase one of our system, now would be the time to do that. After our in-stock systems are gone, our systems will no longer be available.

We thank all of our worldwide customers for their support over the past 10 years. It has been a great run and we have thoroughly enjoyed interacting with individuals, engine builders, dealerships and race teams. The highlight of the past 10 years was being invited into the SpeedSource, Inc. trailer at Daytona by Sylvain Tremblay following their pole-winning run at the 2008 Rolex 24 and meeting chief engineer David Haskell. Sylvain made the comment that our multi-rotor compression tester system, used in the building of their engines, had contributed to their pole-winning run and their eventual class win. That was an experience I will remember for a long time.

Best regards to all,

Larry Roberts,

Owner/Operator, Rotary Diagnostics Systems

Sorry to hear this :(.

I want to get two more acquisition units from you so I can test a four rotor engine if I ever see one lol.

RotaryDiagnostics 11-20-2016 04:17 AM

Well you never know. There are a couple of them out there.

Fendamonky 11-22-2016 08:01 AM

Shoot, I'm sorry to hear that :( I've never purchased any testers from you, but I know you guys have done what you could to provide an invaluable service to our community.

With luck Mazda will get their thumb out of their ass and give us a new rotary, hopefully there will be enough renewed interest that one day you'll be able to re-open your doors.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope I live long enough to see a new rotary car.:)
