GSL-SE fuel pump flow?
Anyone know what the GSL-SE fuel pump's flow rating is? To cut costs I was thinking of using one on my blow-through project for the time being.
Don't they flow at least as much as a walbro 255lph? C'mon guys. Anyone know?
I dont think they'd match the 255lph. I'd imagine they are closer to the S4 NA 13B pump which is less than 255 - I used to have a chart somewhere...
Either way, it wont do for much more than 6psi I'd imagine... |
gsl-se pump will work fine for a blow through turbo they put out like a max of 40psi
It's not the pressure I'm concerned about; I know that will be plenty. I'm concerned about how much fuel it will flow at lower pressures, like around 15 PSI. I think it needs to be like 30-35 GPH at that pressure.
Does anyone know? You might want to ask on the other forum. It's important because I found a GSL-SE pump for you. I'm working out price right now.
Well before i went turbo on my 12a i was told that that pump would be great for blow through. i couldn't find one so i got a msd 2225 works great.
Thanks for the info.
Yeah, I was thinking about using a Summit-rebranded MSD 2225 as well. I think the GSL-SE pump should probably be enough for now, too, so it'll come down to what I can find when the time comes.
Should work either way guess you could use a wolboro.
You could use the GSL-SE pump while you're running 5 psi. You're looking for cheap solutions and this is it. :)

After research, I FINALLY found the answer to the original question:
Specifications: Design: Intank Flow: 160LPH Minimum Voltage: 12V Max Operating Pressure: 95 PSI Part Number: SPPG-392 It is the same part for: 1986-1989 Acura Integra 1990-1992 Daihatsu Rocky 1984-1985 Mazda RX-7 I hope this helps you ! |
The GSL-SE pump is external. Your list states Intank.

Go to your local Dodge dealer and have a look at the fuel pump that they use for the viper. It’s a Bosche pump that is identical to the HKS upgrade pump. One of my guys picked one up and put it in his car and the pump only cost about $130. Check it out. |
I ended up picking up an MSD pump for like $40. But, good to know. Is it an external pump?
