Helmets Must Be Worn During Drag Racing Competition

LEBANON, Tenn. – Beginning Friday night May 16 Nashville Superspeedway will convert pit road into an 8th mile drag strip. The price is $ 20.00 for competitors and $ 5 for spectators. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Racing will begin at 8:30 p.m.
All competitors must wear a ¾ or full face helmet that have a DOT, Snell k98, 2000 or 2005 rating. Half or novelty helmets are not acceptable. Helmet will be checked and verified during tech inspection.
Friday, May 16 schedule of events includes:

* 5:00pm Gates Open
* 6:30pm Practice
* 8:15pm Drivers Meeting
* 8:30pm Racing Begins
(*Times subject to change)

The 2008 drag schedule includes:

Have you read the rules...It appears rotarys are only allowed to run in the Pro clas, not the Tuner class....Also, lowered cars must run pro :( I will make it out soon I am sure.

I dont know if I like the idea of having to enter my 7 in the pro division. My car actually does pretty well on the strip but doubt it'll be any competion to the rest of the field in the pro class. Oh well, it wont stop me.

I guess thiss will be inspiration for me to start on the P-Port motor lol

I'll be there!!!! I go to the hill on tuesdays but the rotary let alone import turnout is pretty sad...whatever I can do to get away from the hormone raging g/f sounds like fun.

I am going to be out of town Friday :( Maybe I can make the 30th.
