dropping car
 

im planning on dropping the fd and i was wondering what i need to get besides coilovers?

To simply drop the car you don't "need" anything else other then adjustable coilovers, and a new alignment.

Or a set of low springs if you dont have the money for coilovers.

i heard that i need sway bars?

not to drop it. You need springs only to drop the car. If you want to adjust the height then you can go with coil-overs. All you really need to drop a car is a new set of lowering springs.

Swaybars are to add stiffness to decrease body roll at high speed cornering.

The real question is....what are you going to be doing with the car?

You can do this with coilovers

do you want it to handle better, or do you just wanna look cool on the motorway? thats what people are trying to ask.
