Sensor check screen

I just installed the 1600cc injectors and finished running the fuel pump and checking for leaks... all is well. Then after that i went to the sensor check screen to make sure that i had everything plugged in right again and the one marked fuel was highlighted. Is that the fuel temp sensor that is in the stock rail? Just wondering if not what else could it be?

I found this, but i am not to sure what the fuel output means????

The first is, MONITOR. Once the engine is tuned correctly, your PowerFC Commander is used to MONITOR all of the data given to the ECU. It monitors air temperature, water temperature, Engine RPMs, fuel output, ignition timing, and boost pressure based off of the electrical signals outputted from each Sensor located in the engine bay. The Commander can give the information in numerical format (i.e. 724 RPMs, 82 deg C) and updates that for real time sensor data. As with most engine monitoring there are features that may appear frivolous, but a more thorough understanding of the engine will make any tuner appreciate them.

Bump for an answer?

So you just installed your 1600cc aftermarket injectors, correct? I'm guessing you did not drill and tap a spot in the rail for the stock fuel temp sensor? If this is the case, it's not too big of a deal. You just need to change all of the the fuel temp correction settings in the datalogit to 1.00.

and yes... "fuel" is the fuel temp sensor. Hope this helps.

Ok cool that is what i though, i know i have to at this point do the following.

1. change all fuel corrections to 1
2. go in and change the injector selection to 1640 i think is the max you can go
3. get a base tune for the set up i have
4. not to sure yet? suggestions haha

Do you have a datalogit or a commander? If you just have a commander, I think the highest you can go is 1500. I don't remember off the top of my head. In any case, you need to either find someone with a datalogit so you can make the fuel corrections and let the PFC know the correct size of the injectors or just shell out the money and buy one. What modifications do you have on your car?
