Tire Rack has Bridgestone RE-01R's for dirt cheap!!!

Get them while they last. These are some of the best "street tires" out there. Most of them are half price!!!

I bought some for the daily:rofl: I don't expect them to last long but they were almost half what the other tires I was going to get are so I figure I'd try them.

To bad the tires on the FD are basically brand new.

Dang! That's pretty good price on the stock 8 tires.. I tried to order some but it says its no longer available.. That sucks!

Herblenny 02-25-2009 10:21 AM

OK.. I called it in and ordered some 225/45/18s for the 8. $78 a piece, I just can't pass on that deal!!!

Same size I got for the MS6. It said unavailable for me yesterday and I checked back this morning and it let me order, they are just on back order for 2wks, which is fine.

Herblenny 02-25-2009 10:45 AM

COOL! So, did you like them as a daily??

SPICcnmFD 02-25-2009 11:10 AM

Well I don't yet. I'll let you know when I get them. Probably be 2-3wks. The only thing I'm worried about is going to be how they do in the rain.

Herblenny 02-25-2009 11:50 AM

OH!! I see. You just ordered them.. I tought you had them before..

Well, I ordered a set too.. So, I guess I'll find out also..

I'm also worried about how it will do in the rain.. But the review seems like it will do ok..

Brent 02-25-2009 08:11 PM

I didn't get to order any. I tried to order the stock FD sizes just to have around as a spare set... but no luck.

No, I'm going to try and see if I can find a phone here in a little bit. Hopefully I can get some.

Herblenny 02-26-2009 11:42 AM

Brent, I talked to a guy named Kyle (ext#663). He seemed to be more helpful than others I talked to in the past. He was willing to search for different sizes for me instead of asking, "What model car do you have??".. Which was a normal response in the past when I called in to order.

I also forgot to check my 17 in front tires.. I was going to order the 245/40/17s.

DANG!! I just checked the website and most of the tires are GONE!!

Here is the number: 888-541-1777

Thanks Phil. I was able to call earlier and pick up a set of 225/50/16. I figure between the FD's and my 300zx, I can find something to put them on. It's just too good of a deal to pass up.

OK Brent... You are as sick as me :)

So, you now have 300zx AND 4 x FDs??
