Bose stereo replacement...self installers help wanted

Do you have an aftermarket stereo in your FD? ...i'm about to try it myself and i hear its kind of a pain....I have the antenna adapter, the schoshe stereo harness and i want to hear success stories from self installers on this subject. What to do and what not to do....thanks for your replies.

Sounds like you have all the adapters. You will need the tools to pull out the stock stereo. It takes some wiggling to get them out. But once you get out the stock stereo, installing a the aftermarket one is just like any other stereo install. Red wire to red wire.

Can you give me a link where you bought your harness for the:

scosche adapter
antenna adapter

I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Go to bestbuy install bay, and ask them for the little pins to pull a stock stereo out. They'll usually give them to you for free.
They sell all the adapters you'll need for the FD. Most likely you'll need a dash kit as well depending on if you're going double din or not.

Does the antenna adapter allow the factory antenna to raise and lower correctly? If so where did you buy it from? Thanks.
