if you use a sledge hammer to widen your front strut towers and frame rails, and then have the engine sitting off center, we could probably get it to fit...

or if we clocked the engine so the SC is straight up, we could possibly get it to work. just make sure we have a dry sump oil pan =]

bigtony08 03-04-2009 03:08 PM

lol that is one hell of a deal but i dont think it would fit in the Fc or be very good for a dd. lol

djmtsu 03-04-2009 06:40 PM

It looks like the belt is routed incorrectly.

bigtony08 03-04-2009 07:18 PM

i wonder how the ignition works i dont see a distibiture

djmtsu 03-04-2009 07:28 PM

You don't see that CAS??

Lol!

bigtony08 03-04-2009 09:34 PM

how does it work

djmtsu 03-04-2009 09:41 PM

If you have an FC (which it seems you do) your car also has a CAS. That is unless someone has replaced it with a distributor from a 1st gen.

CAS stands for one of two things:
-Camshaft Angle Sensor
-Crankshaft Angle Sensor (although in rotaries it technically is an Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor)

You should do some research........ALOT of research!!!

bigtony08 03-06-2009 03:04 PM

TitaniumTT 03-07-2009 01:14 AM

RotorDad 05-01-2009 07:26 PM

great motor, they have a Gilmer drive belt set-up. no slipage there. wasn't this the motor they used in the FB drag car?
