Kerrigan's '93 Touring

A brief introduction: I bought the car in March of 08 with 81,444 miles on the dash. A few dents were on the car and some of the interior was cracked but other than that it was in pretty good condition. I've got all of the paper work on the car since the first owner (I'm currently third) kept the records for everything. Its on its second engine, with about 20k deep so far. Right before I deployed in July of last year the throwout bearing/wedge collar gave out so its been sitting since then! Just pulled it out and took a look, had to send it to a shop since the wedge collar and throwout bearing apparently "melded together" as the shop said. So anyway, I bought some parts tore up my hands and have sworn a lot on this thing in the very few months I've driven it, but I love it to death.

Parts List:

-ACT HD MM Clutch Kit
-Trust PE II Cat Back
-Bonez SS Downpipe
-Stance GR+ Coilovers
-5Zigen FN01RC 17x10 +35F +25R Time Attack Edition
-Falken Azeni RT-615 255/40/17 x4
-Koyo N-Flow Radiator
-Pettit AST

The car looks very clean. Yeah these cars get under your skin. But she's going to be beautiful when done!

You better believe I'll be at DGRR. Yeah i stole your wheels...I almost bought some SSR Type F RS's but then i realized how much I still had to spend on maintenance... So I opted for something a little cheaper. I've spent so much this week on parts its driving me insane. It's all worth it in the end though, I know :P

Camera is Sony Alpha 100 that I've had for a few years. Great bang for the buck now.

Very clean car and a lot of nice parts. Good luck with her.

Everything was fixed, and then the AST went kaput. Engine overheated in the span of about a minute, in between my glances at the gauges... I'm ordering the Pettit AST as i type this hoping the damage was minimal. God hates me :( and this RX7

dregg100 03-15-2009 10:27 PM

just eliminate the AST and save youself $150

Kerrigan 03-16-2009 04:43 PM

Kinda scared about that and I've already spent the 150. Going to check the car for any damage, I'm hoping its minimal since i stopped running it as soon as i noticed the overheating.

I'll pray to the apex gods for your coolant seals.

Nice parts pile there :) I'm especially interested in the Stance coilovers. Please post your review after they're installed.

Hopefully your motor is okay after that incident.

And dregg100, you copied MY wheels. Lol jk
