 Could have told you that from the start. Even a turbo 13B without a muffler is really f*cking loud.

FerociousP 03-27-2009 11:51 AM

bigtony08 03-27-2009 12:19 PM

N.RotaryTech 03-27-2009 12:38 PM

I started the engine an let it idle in my gxl with just the exhaust manifold awhile back.
Pretty darn loud.
Can you tell I don't live in a neighborhood, lol.

Phoenix7 03-27-2009 02:02 PM

NA + open pipes = bloody eargasm.

Hurts so good.

N.RotaryTech 03-27-2009 04:49 PM

LOL, "eargasm" nice.

Actually, that day I did that, my friend was there, and I was in the car checking out the gauges while the car was idling away, and he reached over the engine an revved the throttle just a little bit.
Well it scared the shit out a me. lol, I said to him right after that, "don't do that." lol.

bigtony08 03-27-2009 05:42 PM

yea it sounds great and good thing i dont live in a neighborhood. but as the revs climb it sounds better and better. not to mention the fireworks lol:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl ::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Same setup!

My test pipe was a hollowed cat (didn't know it was hollowed) and it was rediculous... One the interstate it was all drone at 3500 rpm... For some reason, it passed emission that way tho. :o11:

bigtony08 03-28-2009 04:04 PM

stock manifold no cats or presilencer to a y pipe and straight pipes from there 2 1/4 from the y pipe and 3" form the manifold

bigtony08 03-28-2009 04:05 PM

muhahaha sounds demonic

Max777 03-28-2009 05:38 PM

/\ that would be to heavy, it would make more sense to have a pipe go from the manifold to behind the drivers seat, and terminate there.

bigtony08 03-28-2009 08:56 PM

too much fire where to much oil is lololol

Max777 03-30-2009 12:17 AM

I meant at like, a downward angle, not straight into the gas tank...
