are they worth saving?

specifically, two SAs, both 79s, both at all local salvage yard. The are certainly projects, but the biggest thing is that they are completely rust free cars. The owner said he could work with me to recover them. they have some FBs there just as clean but FBs are common enough where i dont feel as though its worth my time.

The thought has come to me though, at what cost is it really worth to try and save them? SAs are drying up quickly and they are quite clean really. I just have too much of a soft spot for cars.

Do it.

SA's started the RX-7 lineage...

I must agree with this Alex. I wouldn't mind having one of those SA's actually. There is one out on my uncle's farm and it's completely rusted.

i might pursue it come spring once i get the misc debts paid off then.

The key is no rust, everything else can be repaired/replaced. Grab both and build up the best one.

Rust free SA shells are getting to be a rare find. That said, it's impossible for one person to save them all.
However, I'm sure someone will eventually want one or both to revive their SA that has suffered terminal rust.

Yeah there might be some good parts on the one on my uncle's farm, I'll check next time I go home. That way if you need some stuff at least we can rape that car since it's rusted to shit.

if anything get the 2 cars and sell them, they shouldnt have any trouble finding a good home

I have a virtually rust free 78. Sun baked surface.

+1 to all of the above. SA's have a cool factor that the FB lacks. Maybe just the fact that they're a 70's sports car. But yeah, a rust-free SA is a sweet find.
