you'll want to have your clutch peddle bracket welded up, make sure that the dealer updated your starter (there was a service tech sheet about it), and get the Black Halo Racing upgraded coil packs, and maybe a little stronger battery. Between all that, you should never have to worry about flooding again.

blowing the engine is more to do with no maintaining the car properly. make sure to check your oil ever couple fill ups because rotary engines burn oil for lubrication like a 2 stroke. You also may want to look into information on premixing ( i don't know off hand how much per gallon of gas of 2 stroke oil).
