I drove my old FC once for a year with a blown rear rotor

. There's different grades of blown engines - a chipped apex seal will idle a little rough and be hard to start, but will run and drive fine. The more the apex seal lets go, the rougher the engine runs and the harder it is to start, sometimes the motor flat won't start or has pretty much zero power to drive.
