I think that is a great idea... And to be honest, you'll see that that's what's happening slowly over the years. Example, me and Adam from Portland, OR. He flew to DGRR 07 (I think?) and I went out to 7stock and he offered me a ride down from OR to 7stock.. I didn't take it, but he offered. Next year, I offered him to fly into AL and he drove my MB to DGRR 08.
I think people are afraid to post "Need a ride" on the forum but I think someone will offer especially if you are willing to split some gas money for a ride through the dragon! Who knows, they might trust you enough and let you drive your car
