If so, I would not buy a template, or 'tools', just get a few carbide burrs from Summit or JEGs and clean the factory ports up a little, the Pineapple Racing templates are really too big for NA. I have an engine that was proted with them and they delay the intake closing WAY too much to make any NA torque below 8,000 RPM. This is a setback because you will need a pretty special intake manifold and really good runner flow to get air to the engine at that speed.
Seriously, just clean the stock port up a little and work with that. Your WHp, torque and drivability will thank you.
Pineapple racing templates are good for turbo applications as they lower the dynamic compression ratio, allowing you to run more boost.
Don't forget that the intake runners make as much difference in power and volumetric efficiency as the ports, the only difference being that properly sized runners don't kill your low end torque (although they hurt it a little) or your idle quality.

Yes NA. I just wanted to play around with my old engine so im not really too concerned with it right now. Its more of an experimental thing for me. I do appreciate the heads up though
I just wanna screw around until its time for the real project to begin and i thought that would be a good way to do it.
Also judging by some reading ive been doing i should ditch the 3pc apex seals for 2pc... but i dunno if i wanna spend another 300 or more for new apex seals when this is really just for shits and giggles. My seals look fine. I do need new eyelets for the corner seals though. and new corner seal springs.
