If it's a stock clutch then it could just be slipping from the power. Before I rebuilt my '87 TII's motor I was running about the same boost and it did the same thing and just kept getting worse (the clutch was just too worn out to support a little extra power). You could try adjusting the clutch pedal again, that's probably about the only thing you could do... If that doesn't help it then you should probably just dig into installing the new clutch. btw do you really want a puck clutch for the street? there are plenty of beefier clutches that will grab fine, but not go "nothing nothing nothing OMG WHEELSPIN"
