Turning feels awful since the engine sits way to high and due to the stock oil pan it can't go any lower without major mods. Without a new injection pump, injectors, and a basic engine overhaul (head gasket, valve seat, new springs) I'm pretty much at the max boost and fuel i can run. The engine just isn't worth the time and effort because the gains won't be that much more and there are better options out there already. That's where i'm starting over selecting my engine.
I figure i'll sell the whole set up and go with something from the mercedes line

Is it the handling your not happy with? Keep in mind a diesel engine is going to be a whole lot heavier which probably make the car understeer quite a bit. I bet a Mercedes diesel will be heavier.
