If you are looking to get better brake performance than you should stay with the stock brake rotors and just up grade your pads. I have been using Hawk HPplus pads for my sa for about 8 years they aren't going to wear out you rotors fast and they have great stoping power. The bad side of them is that they do create a lot of brake dust. They are good for street/ autox use as well as light track day use.
I had to upgrade to a better pad for track use as I got faster I am now using the Hawk blue and black pads which give better stoping power but are not for street use because they need to be warmed up before they work well.
You can contact andrew-racing.com and he can guide you in the right direction, he handles pads ,rotors ,and brake fluid.
