Ok, where I used 120 grit to take off the blue strips, sanded those down to metal and where I welded up the holes from the mirrors and finished them out I used self etching primer but really did not care for the green color, soooooooo
behold a quick look at a few coats of white sand-able primer! Man, cant wait to have both sides done!!
As the truck is coming along im thinking I need to keep her and toss in my RE motor with a little boost!
Rims are 15" Centerline staggered setup with 195's front and 225's in the rear. One centerline rim needs a little work but these would look sick with the lip polished out and the center section powder coated black. Factory spare still under truck with factory rubber.
My plans for this truck was remove bed hooks, paint body, paint engine bay, bed-line the bed, bed-line under side of the bed and under the cab, Make a hard shell bed cover, tint the windows, install AC, and drop in a built 13b 4 port with turbo or supercharger.
All glass in in pristine shape, no delamination or cracks. All cranks and locks work as should. Really a clean repu from cali plus its a 77!
