Welcome. Are you losing power to your coils when you let go of the switch? It sounds to me that you might have a bad ignition switch. You can try putting temporary battery power to the Black and white wire where it comes out of the switch on the ignition terminal (IG) circuit, it runs your coils and the short relay. I assume you've already checked the 20A ignition fuse. Alternately, use a multimeter to see if the switch is getting power to this wire. If not, it's probably the switch since you have power when starting. If so, it's downstream of the switch. Bad connection? Bad ground? They're always a lot of fun to chase down. I got the factory wiring diagram download from SgtFox on the other forum. His personal site is at RX7.Foxed.Ca. It sure helped me chase down my gremlins.
