well...its kinda like this for now...there is a sweet spot when you rotate the coil and it misses the tire by around 1/16".....and once under the weight of the car it will stay there pretty good and rotate on the upper bearing so im going to try it and see, like the old saying goes, a miss is as good as a mile, as long as it doesnt catch hold of it and spin my adjustment collar up or down im happy
and yes, the only real option is to get a different tire....dammit...i mean i can understand putting a slight amount of lip protection on the tire...but these dam things are obviously made with woman drivers in mind
i could drive on 2 wheels and never touch the rim i think....
its always something with this car...it is a most difficult relationship....
