as a matter of fact, given your current situation, I would avoid it for now even if the car is not your daily driver. as mentioned before, it can be made to work, but you're skating uphill if you go this route, and if you think
"making the Holley work" is going to be easier than just troubleshooting (or possibly) replacing the Nikki, then, oh boy, do you have another thing coming. not to mention you will probably cut your level of support on the boards by a good 60%, and of course, there is no FSM reference for it either.
I probably should have posted this in the other thread, but either way, i'd be telling you the same thing. if you want a Holley that's fine, but I think you need to get some basic troubleshooting and tuning skills under your belt first and it's much easier, and better to start with the Nikki.
