Probably, and even if it isn't the same guy I'd avoid this one like AIDS, sounds like a major BS story to me... Excerpt from the Ebay ad, with the parts of it that particularly reek of BS to me in bold:
You are bidding on a real CYM R1 Mazda RX7 ,only 350 yellow were produced ,this car is all stock ,runs and drives as it should both turbos working correctly, transmission is perfect no noises when you engage the clutch, car has no oil leaks whatsoever ,
has less than 6000 original miles ,the interior is in excellent condition, the seats look like they have never been sat in, the original floor mats are perfect, I am very confident car can be driven cross country if needed ,the original bridgestone tires were removed 6 months ago still had 95% tread but very dry rot as you would expect from a 20 year old tire, they were replaced with goodyear eagles.
Unfortunately this car was towed to a mazda dealer after sitting for a long time .The battery was dead and the speedo would not light up .upon arrival and the dealership decided to fill in on the work order that the car had 50k miles ,they wrote this because they could not create a work order without filling in a mileage, unfortunately this shows up on the car fax. ( I cant express how upset i am by this)
however i do have a letter from the dealership stating an incorrect default mileage was entered. COMMENT - Dealership letters are easy to forge/fake; how will the buyer authenticate such a thing??? The dealership installed a new battery and speedo, I still have original speedo showing appox 2500 miles, current speedo now shows approx 3200 miles. This car has been repainted ,not sure why, looks to be a very nice job. I do believe this car to be a great investment ,and a joy to drive. Hate to sell it, but an opportunity to buy another car i have been chasing has finally arrived. any questions call Dave 954 601 6691
