Nice man, I like it. I've got a vented hood on my 8 and daily drove that car as did the two previous owners. Everythings sealed, no worries about it.
If you want to see how effective it is.... put the stick hood on and go beat the hell out of the car. Take a few temp reading with an IR gun.

If you want to look for airflow.... tape or tie a few tell tales (6-8" of lightweight string) inside the vent and see what they do. Sucked back into the vent, stagnant or stretched over the hood towards the windshield flapping around violently at the tail.....
