Do you have an idea of how far this will stick out on the side of the engine? Is it for RHD only or will it clear the steering shaft on LHD cars too? I made a mount that fits the coils almost in the stock position and I have some ridiculously short plug wires, but it's a pretty ghetto mount and your work turns out much nicer than mine LOL. That is some CRAZY work, it looks great! I'm very excited to see where this goes.

Yes it is hard on the brain@!
I did all of this in 1995 when I got my first job running a 3 axis CNC/CAD milling machine at a local machine shop (then using mastercam).. was never a machinist back then just straight out of mech eng school!@.... ten years later I did my trade in fitting and machining and plyaed a bit with Inventor and more CNC shit, but never did work like this detail (never had the time).
Last job a mate gave me Pro Engineer CREO2.0 and I have been learning it in the last 4 days or so, its very hand to draw/design in like this cause you can place things and check them working BEFORE molesting materials.
On that front I will measure the assembly and get back to you on how far its past the mounting boss on the center plate, its not that far, I designed it to be as compact as is humanly possible and to clear everything on a physical engine (and engine bay)... my last iteration of this hung out MUCH further RR COP version 1 which is the ONLY one you will ever see pics of on the internets LOL.
There are some ghetto mother fuckers who have used Honda motor cycle COP units and just hung them off the sides in LHD cars and they fit (you can google it) so this should be no worries..................
Will let you know!@ only 4 hours sleep and back into it now! this is how to get shit like this done! less typing Howard Coleman style on GAYCLUB.COM and more actual working RR RCC style YO!
