I'm pretty sure I've got some 1680 EV14's from a less reputable dealer (Five-O) that I can send you for pennies on the dollar. They've literally been sitting in a sandwich bag in my coffee table for a few years. Pay for shipping and get them cleaned/flow tested then go to town!
Better to use those with a good secondary rail (or even that KG Parts pos) than to try going with EV1's.
550/1680 *should* be good for 400whp(ish) if I remember correctly.
